Bergstrom Air
The classic, ultra traditional Bergstrom model is back! Now, with a bold new colorway and dial configuration. For those that want a timepiece to not only last generations, but also appreciate the daily process of winding a watch with an incredibly satisfying "crank" action, the Bergstrom Air is ready to serve.
Offered in 41.5mm case width, with your option of a polished 316L stainless steel, or bead blasted Matte Bronze PVD finish. The stunning sunburst deep blue dial adds a level of sophistication and fun to the Bergstrom lineup. The Air delivers with a hand-stitched, full-grain brown leather strap, attached via durable screw bars (allen tools are included). The venerable NOS (New Old Stock) Unitas 6497 manual wind movement is highly decorated with perlage throughout and finished in gold.
Interesting story about these movements- they were actually sourced from Switzerland from a now-defunct pocket watch company. These particular movements are getting very hard to find, so once these special movements were discovered, I had to get them! They went through a full cleaning and re-oiling process, and carefully tested and regulated right in the Austin workshop.
